I do like long names, several of my children have a long name (first, middle or both). I generally prefer them without nicknames, and if they do have a nickname I prefer them to come around naturally/spontaneously instead of being planned.

Some of my favorite long names are Vindemiatrix, Mehetabel, Rosemonde, Bethshalom, Yehosheva and Magdalena for girls, and for boys Yechezkel, Odysseus, Maccabee, Benjamin, Astrophel, Barzillai and Artavasdes.
