The meaning isn't bad. "Blind" could mean that she isn't influenced by how people look but she is able to see the inner beauty within a person. It really is up to interpretation. It doesn't have to mean "blind" in a negative way.

I like Cecilia a lot but I prefer Cecily. You might also like Celeste?

Cecilia Josephine is okay but I prefer Cecilia Seraphine (too many S sounds, maybe)
