It's an unusual name and an interesting one. Looking at Victorian birth data, the Digory spelling (which I think I prefer) seems to have been more common. With the given spelling, I think of
Diggory Venn from
Thomas Hardy's Return of the Native - he's quite an interesting character.
If I were using it, I'd go with something fairly common to balance it, like, say, Digory
Thomas or Digory
James. Looking at those, I think it's growing on me.
