Re: "New" Names
Adannaya - cool. I wouldn't really consider using it, because it just looks a bit cluttered, but the sound is nice.
Adara - I enjoy this one too.
Adi - Would be a nice nickname. Adaeze nn Adi - if only I knew how to pronounce Adaeze.
Aileen - not a fan
Alivia - oh dear, really?? :)
Amala - I want to like it, but it's like Amalia is missing something. Oo, nickname for Amalia? Then I'm in.
Bea - Would be such a sweet middle name.
Blossom - LOL, really?
Calla - I like Calla too.
Callie - meh, uninteresting
Carra - looks like Cara / Kara is trying too hard.
Chaya - pronounced CHAY-ah like it looks?
Dannie - I love Dani as a nn for Danica. Or wait...Dannie as a nn for Adannaya?
Geena - really don't like the look of this
Jacqueline - not my style, but I enjoy it for someone else
Jamie - meh, boring for an 80s baby
Kinneret - woah, interesting. Not my style, but gutsy.
Leela - feels kinda trendy and forgetable. (As though the syllables are interchangeable...Keela, Keely, Breely, Jayla)
Maia - simple and quite possibly timeless
Mala - I keep thinking NAla like in the Lion King
Marie - Actually not bad - as long as it's not as a middle name
Meera - the double ee just doesn't look attractive to me
Mia - sweet. I like it even better as a nn for Amelia.
Michaela - strongly dislike
Nadie - pronounced like Sadie?
Narelle - have loved this since I was a kid. I've never gotten much of a response on the boards
Nell - how sweet. I'd enjoy it as a middle name
Nuna - sounds like a nickname for a soother
Nyah - I've always hated how this looks
Zola - spunky!
