Catherine, hands down. I'm so sick of Caitlin. Plus, Catherine sounds like the name of a powerful queen who will crush her enemies. It just has this historical, ancient feel to it that Caitlin doesn't possess.
I do prefer the spelling Katelynn, but Catherine still wins without trying.
I don't think so. Caitlin, especially with this spelling, feels very Irish to me. I feel no connection to Ireland. Catherine still easily wins.
