I was never a huge fan of Diamond on a girl. I find it a bit gaudy and bogus. It has a pretty sound though. I have never heard of Diamanda, but it’s a slight improvement.
For a guy, I like it. I’m surprised it’s not more popular with the surge of unisex names. It kind of reminds me of Desmond, with is a little more dreary and stoic. Diamond for a boy feels refreshing and cool. I’m thinking Diamond could have the ability to be versatile. But not everybody can have it.
