Pronounced: NO-a
Derived from the Hebrew name Noach meaning "rest, comfort". In the Old Testament Noah was the builder of the ark which allowed him, his family, and two of each animal to survive the great Flood. After the Flood he received the sign of the rainbow as a covenant from God.

Pronounced: NO-a
Derived from the Hebrew name No'ah meaning "motion". In the Old Testament this is the name of a daughter of Zelophehad.

Pronounced: JER-ed
From the Hebrew name Yared which meant "descent". This was the name of a close descendent of Adam in the Old Testament.
