Thanks Nan and Davidh! And yes, David we do have our own way of spelling things down here! And since we're talking about my Grandma, let me tell ya'll a funny story. My cousin went with my Grandma to the doctor's office when she was little, and she went to sign in, and when nurse asked her name, she said "Wanell McCallum". My cousin looked kind of counfused when she replied "Grandma, I thought you had two L's"! (Get it, one L, Wanell) We thought it was funny!

I think it's funny too!! Just hope yer grandma wasn't going to the doctor for "the sugar". Seems that's the principal grandma affliction in this part of the south (east-central Kentucky).Do grandmas generally get called Mamaw or Memaw down yer way, or is that just a KY/TN/Carolinas thing? Me, I never could say either one with a straight face... : )
