Dear Mum,
After three long years of trying to have a baby on our own we've finally come to the realization that adopting a baby is actually our best option. There are thousands of children in the world who need help and though we can't help all of them we can help one. So we've decided to adopt a child from China. Quir is really the one who made me change my mind and realize that we need this, and Myles does to. We need to open our hearts to someone else's child who will be ours.

Dear Mum,
Adopting a child is almost harder than having one of your own it seems. But after months of paperwork a child has come to our attention and has opened up to us. He's a little Chinese boy who is fifteen months old and his name now is Kim Sun but we've decided to rename him Kieran Quinlan. We are all so excited about the prospect that he is ours now! We have another son who we've never met. Our own Myles can't wait to be a big brother!
On top of this I have this queer feeling that I'm pregnant again which I know has to be false but I'll go to the doctor anyway.

Dear Mum,
Our baby Kieran is more beautiful than I'd ever thought possible! And we all love him so completely as if he'd never been someone else's child. When his daddy came home on the plane he put little Kieran into my arms and my baby clung to me as if he knew I was his mama. Myles is so good with Kieran they are such true brothers.
Oh, mum something extraordinary has happened! Besides having Kieran come the doctor has confirmed that I am pregnant again! How can so much joy and love be ours - it's so amazing! Only God could have done so much for us!
