Lee Elliot is old enough to have responsibility for a pet, so Keen and George got him a rabbit. Lee named him Matt Lin, after his two best friends in kindergarten. Whenever Matt Lin is out of his cage, hopping around the house, Grandpa Blake will watch quietly for a while, grinning, and then go and whisper to Keen or George, "There's a rabbit in the house." Lee Elliot is delighted with his pet, and does take care of him so long as he is reminded.
