Early into their marriage, Heinrich had become bitter as Eleonore spent as much time as she could get away with at the palace 'visting' Hedwig. Heinrich had become suspicious that it wasn't actually her sister that Eleonore travelled to the palace to see. Being a rather bitter and jealous man, Heinrich banned Eleonore from visiting the palace and thus secluded her from her sister and Walter, whom she was still ver much in love with. When Eleonore discovered that she was pregnant, she was very excited as her existance in the seclusion of her husbands estate had become a very lonely one. Eleonore has been trying very hard to be a better wife to Heinrich so he trusts her and lets her leave.
Heinrich was also very excited about Eleonore's pregnancy and was a very caring and devoted husband throughout, to the point where Eleonore even found she disliked him a little less, though she knows in her heart that she will never love him, just as she knows she will never stop loving her sisters husband. Heinrich was very disappointed when Eleonore delivered a daughter as he wanted an heir and has had little to do with Eleonore or baby Valeria since her birth. Eleonore doesn't mind though as she is very much in love with her little girl and is happier than she has been in years. One bonus is that, now that she is a mother, Heinrich has relaxed his rules and Eleonore has regained some of her previous freedom. When not long after Valeria was born Eleonore heard that Hedwig had delivered a son but was having a difficult recovery, she immediately made plans to travel to the palace with baby Valeria to assist Hedwig in any way possible. Eleonore spent a few wonderful weeks at the palace with her sister and their new babies where she quickly fell head over heels for her new nephew, just as Hedwig did for her new niece. Away from prying eyes, Eleonore also spent as much time with Walter as she could, dreaming of the life she could have had if only her father had choosen her as Walter's bethrothed instead of Hedwig. Whilst there, Eleonore also spent time discussing with the King and Queen the state of affairs regarding Princess Adelheid. Eleonore very much sides with Walter on this as she knows that he only had his sister's best interests at heart. Eleonore sympathises with Adelheid as their situations are very similar, both married to men they cant stand for the sake of peace in Bial, and Eleonore only hopes that Adelheid finds joy in being a mother just as she has.
After a few weeks of bliss at the palace, Eleonore reluctantly returned to Bergfalk estate and Heinrich's side to emerse herself in the joy Valeria brings her, even if both she and their child are scorned by Heinrich.
