Do names that are modified to a language count?
There are many ethnically non-Japanese people with originally non-Japanese names who legally change their names to a phonologically Japanese spelling and transcribe their names into Japanese Kanji e.g. Lin Haifeng (林海峰) to Kaihō Rin (林海峰), Martti Turunen to Marutei Tsurunen (弦念丸呈), David Aldwinckle to Debido Arudou (有道出人), Lina Kahafizadeh to Rina Arashi (嵐莉奈)... Most of these names are not used by native-Japanese people and only by people who go through these changes. Do originally non-Japanese names that are modified to the language's phonology and script count as names or just translations?
