Meaning & History
Derived from Sanskrit अचिन्त्य (achintya) meaning "incomprehensible, inconceivable". This is the name of the supreme god in Balinese Hinduism, sometimes called Sang Hyang Widhi or Sang Hyang Tunggal. He is the equivalent of Brahma in South Asian Hinduism.
