The "a" is pronounced like the o in "orange"
The "é" - the closest I can think of is the e sound in "hay"
That is how it is pronounced in Hungarian.

I'm pretty sure it would be AW-dayl, because the A doesn't have an accent (á) over it. If it has no accent, it would be pronounced "aw".
