Adelina Barrion (1951 – 2010) was a Filipino entomologist and geneticist whose extensive contribution to the study of Philippine spiders earned her the moniker "Asia's Spider Woman," although she also contributed significantly to the study of other species, and to the study of genetics in general.
Adelina Santos-Rodriguez (1920 – 2021) was a Filipina politician and civil leader who served as the first woman Mayor of Quezon City from 1976 to 1986. She also distinguished herself in charity work especially her programs for the Philippine Red Cross. She was married to Isidro Rodriguez, a softball official and former Governor of Rizal.
Princess Adelina de Colonna, Duchess of Rignano (born Adelina Munro Drysdale; 1896 – 1942) was a Scottish Argentine socialite and an Italian princess. In her honour, her grandfather Duncan MacKay Munro named the Villa Adelina train station of Córdoba Central Railway (current General Belgrano Railway) after her. The town then built around the station in Vicente López Partido also took the name "Villa Adelina".
