Pretty, delicate. Love as a nickname.
I wouldn’t use as a full name, but this is a beautiful nn!
Our little one’s nn, short for Aliana. Huge Notebook fans!
Allie Hamilton :)))
My great grandpa was named Allie and so am I. I think it's a great name.
Allie is a really cute name. I love this name as a nickname for Aliana.
Anyone else's first thought The Notebook?
I'm a bit of a sucker for short, unassuming names and Allie is no exception :)!
Allie X is a famous Canadian singer.
I like Ellie better.
Beautiful, but prefer Ali❤️.
I disagree that Allie is "so much prettier" than Ellie, the words THE and THEE are more distinguishable than Allie and Ellie.I would also not refer to either Allie or Ellie as pretty. They make youthful nicknames for longer birth certificate names such as Alana and Elliana.Allie makes me think of Ally McBeal, Allie Hamilton and alleyways.
Beautiful diminutive for Alexandra!
I know 2 Allie's, they are both short for Alexandra.
I like it and I think it's cute and everything... but I would just never use it for any of my (future) kids. I also think it's a great nickname for Allison, Alexandria, And Alexandra.
Love as a nickname as well, although I prefer Ali. I also agree, this is much prettier than Ellie.
Love it as a nickname, but not so much as an actual first name.
So much prettier than Ellie!
Allie can also be used as a diminutive of Alexa, Alexandria/Alexandrea, Alexandrina, Alexis, Alexia, Alice, Alicia, Alyssa, Alisa, Aline, Alina, Alba, Albine, Albina, Alberta, Albertina, Alana, or other names beginning with a similar sound.
Very pretty elegant nickname.
Cute nickname for Aliana, Alison, or Alexandra.

Beautiful name in itself, love the way it sounds and it is also very very cute as a nickname for Allison/Alison.

Cute nickname for Alice or Alexandria. I can’t stand Allison though.
Allie Hamilton (Allison) is a character in the novel and film called The Notebook she is portrayed by Rachel McAdams when young and Gina Rowland while older.
VERY BEAUTIFUL NAME. Love it as a nickname for Allison and Alexandra.
Allie is fine as a standalone actually.
I love it as a nickname for Allison. Allie is so cuteee.
This is a very cute name! It's good enough as a standalone name to me.
Allie is my name. Not a nickname or anything, just Allie. As much as I love my name, I'm annoyed by how many people think Allie is my nickname and my real name is Alison. It's just Allie! If I ever go to Starbucks, I will make sure they spell my name right.
Cute nickname for Aliana :)
Allie Jane Webster is the daughter of John and Alyssa of the TV show “Bringing Up Bates”.
I know 3 Allie's, with all of their real names being Alexandria, and they all pronounce it "Al-ee".
In 2018, 4 is the most common age for an American (U.S.) Allie* who is registered female with the Social Security Administration. It is the 1, 251st most common female first name for living U.S. citizens.*as a first name, not a nickname.
This is my name, and I love it! Sadly, I was given the least popular name out of all my siblings, (Alyssa, Caleb, and Corey) but that's what I love about it! It's so unique! Something uncommon is it's not a nickname. My full name is Allie. If you're planning on naming your child this, go for it! It's short, simple, cute, ages well, and it's uncommon if you want an uncommon name! I have actually never met another Allie before. I've met Allisons and Alexis' that go by Allie, but never just an Allie!
Allie is a pretty nickname, but not as a full name to me. I feel there needs to be something more to it if it’ll be a first name. I love it as a nickname for Alexandra, better than Alex as a nickname for it. Alison isn’t my type of name, so there I guess.
Ew, I hate this name. Something about it just is like... No, lol. Allie & Allison are just gross in my opinion. Thankful that that isn't my name.
My name is Alle, a very rare spelling of it and apparently very hard way of saying it but I think I'm going to change it to Alleigh, if I already have a difficult name to say why not have fun with it?
Allie is way overused in my opinion.
My name is Alma, but back when I was about 5 or 6 I hated my name, and everybody called me Allie (though I've since grown to love my name, so nobody calls me Allie anymore). I know two other Allie's: one is short for Alexandra, and the other for Amanda.
Overall, while I do think it makes a cute nickname, I don't think Allie is substantial enough to be a full name.
That's one of the names my parents considered for me, as a full name. I wouldn't mind to be named Allie at all. I love it as short for Alexandra and Alexandria. It's common yet unusual for Alex- names.
I like Eilla, which is Allie backwards. I only like this spelling.
Cute. But I prefer it as a nickname not as a full name.
I know three Allies, yet none of them spell it "Allie." There's Alle (short for Alessandra), Alli (short for Allison) and then Alley (who's just Alley.) I think "Allie" is over used, even as a nickname. Don't call your kids this. Think of something more original.
Cute. Only as a nickname though.
This is what I go by, even though it's short for Allison, and I think it's ok. AND NO ONE CAN EVER SPELL IT! It's always Ali or Alli or Ally or something along those lines. Generally, if you call me Allison, I attack you. It's Allie, not Allison, or Alyson, or Alison. ALLIE!
I use it as a nickname for Alexandra.
I don't like any forms of 'Allison' or any of the 'Allie's' but if I had to pick one, I'd pick this one.
Allie is the name of Holden Caulfield's younger brother in the popular novel "The Catcher in the Rye." It was popular in the U.S. before the 1920's for males, probably as a nickname for Alexander, Albert, or any number of Al- names.
Allie Grant has guest starred as the crazy `Agnes` in `The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody`.
My name is Alexandra, but everyone calls me Allie. I love the name, only it's becoming way too popular for my liking. Every person I have ever met assumes that Allie is short for Alison and that it's spelled Ali. It gets quite annoying sometimes. But overall, it's a very lovely name.
I know an Allie but it is not short for Alison like most people presume, it is short for Alexandra. I have not heard of any Alison's being shortened to Allie but some of my other friends called Alexandra shorten it to this or Ali. I think that it is prettier than Alex because that sounds quite masculine but this is more feminine!
A famous bearer is actress Allie DiMeco. She plays Rosalina in The Naked Brothers Band on Nickelodeon.
My name is Allie. It's not short for anything though, it is just Allie. I think it's a pretty good name. It can get annoying because of the many different spellings and people who think your name is Alison when it's not. Also, I've never been able to find a trinket (like a mug you buy at a gift shop) with my name on it, it's always Alison or something. Oh well. :)
I love the name Allie, but as a real name not a nickname. I would name my daughter Allie, not Allison, etc.
I do not like the spelling of this name. I like it ALLY or ALLEY.
