French form of Antiochus (masculine), as well as an ancient Greek feminine form of Antiochos (note, the usual feminine form was Antiochis). In Greek mythology Antioche, also called Antiope, was a daughter of Pylon and wife of Eurytus, by whom she became the mother of the Argonauts Iphitus and Clytius.
