Arlene = Is straightforward, neat sounding. A girlie girl name. She's probably smart. I think of maybe a pretty librarian look, and when the glasses come off and the hair goes down -- WATCH OUT! She's a joy! Nice name that's not super common. I like it quite a bit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

It is a nice name. It is my middle name, which I prefer to go by. You can have cute nicknames, like Arlii, or simply the whole name, Arlene. It is a very mature name, landing itself to matrons rather than children. Which is why I like the abbreviation Arlii for young crowds.
