Bennett

Originally a French name, Bennett made its way mysteriously into Wales during the Renaissance. It remains a rather common name in Wales, as well as in the state of Utah, where it is a common surname and often memorialized as a given name. From Benedictus (Latin: good speaker), though it is now commonly defined as meaning "small beloved" or "little beloved."
