I love the name Byron. I think By is a terrible nickname though! Byron reminds me of a very strong masculine name which makes me fall in love with it!

This is an extremely bad name. It sounds unpleasant and unattractive yet obnoxiously trendy as well. Today, while shopping at a store, I heard someone calling for a little boy no older than the age of 4 or 5 by this name and trust me, I wanted to roll my eyes right then and there.
Please do not saddle a kid with this name!

I don't know if I could take any kid seriously after learning about the poet Lord Byron (last name but still). That's quite the name to live up to. What a man.

I know a lot of people don't like the name but I actually love that name! Once someone told me that name sounds like an old man's name. Lol, I respected her opinion but, to me, I don't think so. My opinion - the name sounds mature, special, intelligence, and sweet. =)

The sound is quite unpleasant, and the name is pretentious anyway.
