I remember using Carlene for a main character's name when I was younger. I liked how it was pronounced and the meaning. Now it kind of reminds me of cars, but I still like the name. It's interesting :]

"Carlene" is name of a song by the country singer Phil Vassar. It's a favorite song of my mother's, but probably has to do with the fact MY name is Karleen (an alternate spelling). I love my name. I'm not sure why, though. I've only met one other person with it.
