Chi is also used as a masculine name in Vietnamese. A known male bearer of this name was Ho Chi Minh (listed in the "Namesakes" section of this name), a Vietnamese revolutionary and politician. However, Chi is more common for females. So, I think that the "Gender" of this name should be changed from "Feminine" to "Feminine & Masculine".

My name is Khanh Chi. Khanh meaning happy, Chi meaning branch. People mistake it for the Chinese "qi" which is energy but I guess it sounds cooler than branch. No American can ever pronounce Chi like the way Vietnamese people pronounce it so I'm not even going to explain. Americans pronounce it sort of like a mix of Chi and Shi, not the same but I actually like it better.

Peachie- no, it can not. The I sound in Vietnamese is always pronounced like the I in igloo, never like the I in ice cream. I am a Vietnamese speaker.
