Clem Fandango is a character from the British sitcom Toast of London (2012).
I love Clem, especially as a nickname, but it reminds me of the word phlegm.
I actually really like the name Clem. My only problem with it is that it might sound too "made up" or "trendy" as my daughter grows up. I really like the name Clementine, too. But that seems too long and everyone else will just think of the fruit. My plan is to name my daughter a different name, but call her "Clementine" or "Clem" as a nickname. I don't want her to be stuck with a name that sounds unprofessional during job interviews or things like that.
The name Clem means a lot to me. Clem has been a name passed down in my family for 6 generations.
I love the name Clem, it suits a tomboy girl very well.
In the book "The Notebook", by Nicholas Sparks, Clem was the name of Noah's female dog. I'm not sure if it was short for Clementine.
Reminds me of a leaf on a fall tree.
Red Skelton had a famous alter ego on his radio and TV show called Clem Kadiddlehopper. Clem is usually thought of as a hillbilly type of name. As in "Clem comes to the big city" a line I've run across a few times.
I love the name Clem. Not as a nickname.
Clem can also be a feminine nickname for Clementine, and other clemency names.
