I love this name! It has a beautiful sound and has a very positive meaning ("splendid", "famous"). If I have a son, I am definitely considering this name.It's also the name of a character in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Extremely close to Clitoris. There are many other ancient names that can suit your child better for a good life.

It would be abuse to give the name Clitus to a child. Nickname could be Clit. Great. Good way to get him beat up.
