I agree. There are so many other girl names out there, and parents choose a masculine plural surname. Not to mention the "kreaetyve" spellings like Kollyns or Colynz. It is way too similar to the masculine name Colin to be feminine in my eyes.

I don't think it's correct to say that the book "The Blind Side" was a "biographical novel." Though the Wikipedia page about the book points out that it contains two storylines, one about the history of American football tactics and one focusing on the life of the player Michael Oher, there is no indication that the story of Oher's life was fictionalized in the book, which would make it just a "biography" and NOT a "novel." [noted -ed]
