Belarusian form of Euphrosyne. Saint Euphrosyne of Polotsk (1104–1167) was the granddaughter of a prince of Polotsk, Vseslav, and daughter of Prince Svyatoslav of Polotsk. She has long been a popular saint among Orthodox devotees and is considered one of the 15 patron saints of Belarus.
