(Might also go under meaning and history?)Elenna, is also an island in Tolkien's Middle-earth mythology, named in one of his elvish languages. This may be more relevant now than previously, since the LOTR:Rings of Power show on AmazonPrime is covering more of Tolkien's history of Middle-earth, and somewhat of Númenor. The name was lovely and very meaningful for its people: "Elenna" is the island on which the realm of Númenor was founded. The name means "Starwards" in the High-elven tongue (Quenya), from the fact that the first Men to inhabit that island came to it by following the light of the Star of Eärendil.
