So so cute.
Hmm... I prefer Evelyn.
Not bad, but I still prefer Evelina over this.
Eveline is an absolutely gorgeous name and should be used more often. I pronounce it "ehv-uh-leen".
This is my name and yeah, I did have some kids call me "evil line" but it was all in good humor and never to degrade me. I am named after my great grandmother and we pronounce it like Evelyn. I used to have a lot of trouble with teachers not knowing how to pronounce my name so I ended up being called every possible form of Eveline under the sun until I finally corrected people. All in all I love my name for its meaning and the fact that it is very unique.
My great aunt's name was Evelene and she pronounced it ev-uh-LEEN and it was often mispronounced and misspelled as Evelyn.
We read the story Eveline in school and no one knew how to pronounce it! Most of us said ev-a-leen, although I guess it could be rarely pronounced like Evelyn, as with Madeline and Madelyn.
I think this is a pretty name, but I believe there is too much room for teasing from children. The name does look a bit like "Evil Line."
This is the name of one of my best friends. We usually call her Eef. I think this name is nice, it has a nice ring to it and the meaning is beautiful.
