Flor

Flor is very beautiful reminding me of flower, la Flor means a flower in Spanish and fleur means flower in french.

'La Flor' means "THE flower"; 'a flower' is "UNA Flor".

Flor is beautiful... when spoken by Spanish speakers. When Anglophones say it, though, it tends to sound awful. There's even a scene in the movie "Spanglish" when the character Flor (and others) are explaining to Téa Leoni how to say Flor, and Leoni goes, "... Floor. Like what I walk on?"

Yeah.

But in Spanish, Flor (with the trilled R) is lovely.
