Franca dei Santi was a character in Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh.
My sister is named Franca, I think it’s a good name and a great alternative of the more common Francesca.
Even though some people say it’s and old lady’s name, I think it’s timeless and fits her well (she’s 12). She’s a lively, sweet, smart and sensible girl, really mature for her age. We call her Fran for short, which she loves.
Italian pronunciation:

FRAHN-kah

Roll the "r." "A" as is found in the word "father." "C" is a hard "k." Repeat the pronunciation of "a" ("ah").
Franca (pronounced FRAHN-tsah) is the feminine form of Francis in Croatia, a contracted form of Franciska. Less common nowadays.
