Off topic, but this is a response to Inxpect’s comment. There are some feminine names that mean strong/brave/something along those lines. (e.g. Gertrude and Matilda)
For a more relevant comment, I think Hartmann’s a nice name. I associate it more with middle-aged men, possibly due to the last name Hartman(n) and its associations. I think it’s English as well as Germanic.
