Hubert is less long-winded and more modern than Hubrecht, hence the latter is rarely used in the Netherlands these days (or the past century, for that matter).Also, Hubrecht has also been used in Germany in earlier times, but just like in the Netherlands, has always been overshadowed by Hubert.
