You are just as American as white people, and if you don't have any real connection to an Arab country, don't make yourselves sound like ''the other'' for the sake of doing so.
I second that sigh. I'm mainly disappointed at the fact that slight night shiver is implying that someone can't be Arab AND American. Or that anyone needs to act a certain way to be considered just as American as white people. It's disgusting, frankly.
Sigh to the above. I am tired of seeing racist/classist comments left on just about every predominantly African American or working-class name on this website.
