I just saw an Indian man on TV with the name Jaswinder, it might be unisex. [noted -ed]
Even though I'm not Sikh, I would *still* use this name on a (future) daughter. It just has this "oomph" to it. I like the first syllable (Jazz) a lot, but what keeps me from that name is some women I've met who bear it. :-(However, I also love the "winder" ending. I've always thought a name meaning/alluding to "wind" would be great. Honestly, this name is both strong and feminine.
Jasminder was the main character in the movie Bend it Like Beckham.
