Not a name. I think it's sort of pretentious to name your son after a god that's still being worshipped today. Athena and Ares are fine, but Jehovah?
Definitely should not be a name for a child. I personally find this name to be beautiful. It means I cause to become. Jehovah is the embodiment of love, justice, wisdom, and power. A name to be revered and respected.
Jehovah is NOT a human name. It is an old translation of God's name, part of the name of the Jehovah's Witnesses, and too pretentious to describe in words. Who the hell would want to use this as a name? It will leave a nasty impression.
Well, it would admittedly be funny to name a kid Jehovah and watch how people have a cow, but that would just make you one of those immature contrarian types, which is something one should grow out of by the age of 18. It's a hideous and pompous name, but you could have fun by telling people God's name is supposed to be Yahweh anyway, not Jehovah, and those who disagree would crap their pants in fury, which would be an endless source of amusement. But no, I wouldn't recommend you to do it, even if you're 17 and an immature contrarian.
People shouldn't name their kids Jehovah because there is only one Jehovah. Jehovah is the almighty god!
Jehovah's Witnesses believe this to be God's name.
This name should NOT be used for a person!
