Using Kanji "香", so it means fragrant. My father was a garden lover, so he chose this name for his first child, me.
Kinda old-school female name in Japan, good to know babies in the U.S. are having the same name. (are they Japanese-American or not?)
Also, people who's name is Kaori tend to called "Kaorin"as nickname. Me included.
