Kurapika

Kura, which means the darkness, is the variant of Kuro. Pika means the glittering light. So this name means "the glittering light in the darkness". This is the name of a character in the manga HunterXHunter, aka HXH. Kurapika is the last existing member of Kuruta tribe, whose eyes are able to change into red when they get angry. The eyeball of Kuruta people were so desirable because it can be sold more expensively than any other thing in this world. Consequently, a group of thieves hunted the Kuruta down and slayed whole friends and relatives of Kurapika for their eyeballs. Kurapika was deeply feudful for this. He vows to slay back all the thieves and get the Kuruta eyeball back.
