Oh alright... I may be lying when I say that I like this name in my previous comment via @Teddy01 on Sep/6/2020. Now while I think this is a pretty good French diminutive of Laura, I think this may be too similar to the word chlorine. So I now prefer Laurette over this.
Laurine van Riessen is a Dutch long track speed skater and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Track Team BEAT Cycling. She competed for the Netherlands at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver in the 500, 1000, and 1500 metres and won the bronze medal in the 1000 metres. In 2015, she switched to track cycling and won a bronze medal in the team sprint at the 2015 UEC European Track Championships in Grenchen, Switzerland.

I think Laurine is a very pretty feminine name.
I think it would be a beautiful first or middle name.
Sounds rather like 'chlorine'.
This name is also used in France, where it is the French form of Laurina (see Submitted Names Database).
It's a nice variation of Lauren, but it reminds me of Latrine.
