Lorette

Lorette Charpy is a French artistic gymnast. She was part of the team that won silver at the 2018 European Championships and individually she is the 2019 European Games all-around silver medalist and 2019 European Championships bronze medalist on the balance beam.

Lorette M. Wood (1915 – 2010) was an American politician. Wood was the first woman to be elected to the city council of Santa Cruz, California, in 1967. She later became the first woman to serve as mayor of Santa Cruz upon her appointment to the office by city council in 1971.

Lorette is played by Anika Noni Rose in the movie Dreamgirls.
