Margarete is the mother of Denise in the novel The Good Negress by AJ Verdelle. I'm not sure if this is a misspelling of Margaret or Marguerite.
Princess Margarete, Countess of Snowdon and Princess of Scotland. She was born August/21/1930. Being the youngest daughter of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and sister of the current British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Margarete led rather disapointing romances in her early life.
When she met and married Antony Armstrong-Jones and had his title changed to Earl of Snowdon and Princess (Queen) Margarete took up Countess of Snowdon. Sadly, after battling a series of strokes, Countess Margarete passed away Feb/2/2002 in the hospital.
