María de la Luz

María de Luz Flores Aceves (1906 – 1944), known by her stage name Lucha Reyes, was a Mexican singer and actress. Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, she was popular in the 1930s and 1940s and was called the "Queen of Ranchera".

Luz Jiménez Ormeño (born María de la Luz Jiménez Ormeño) is a Chilean actress, theater director, and teacher who gained recognition for her performances in the roles of Maruja in the play Tres Marías y una Rosa (1979) and Kiki Blanche in the telenovela Bellas y audaces (1988). She has developed a career spanning 50 years, in which she gained popularity mainly as a theater and television actress.

María de la Luz Casas Pérez was a Mexican professor and researcher with the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies (Tec de Monterrey), in the field of communications and politics. Her research work has been recognized by the Mexican government with Level II membership in the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores.
