The name Mark, according to my Strongs concordance also means Autumn or Fall.
Just thought you would like to know that the names Mark and Marcus have both Hebrew and Greek origins. Marcus is written this way in Greek:

I don't remember where I heard it, but "Mark" means "warrior of God".
MARC (French form of MARK) - From MARS, the Roman God of War. Meanings: warrior, fighter, or master of war.
Mark means "that of a God" or "heavenly."
