It sounds like someone was trying to make an adjective of "melon" (even though it can be an adjective in the right context). Melon-y. Spell the name correctly, for goodness' sake.

To me the name Mellony seems like an herb or something. Like in a recipe where they might say "Add a tablespoon of Mellony".
