The lack of maturity and respect is shameful. It is just "Milagro" (miracle) with an "s" on the end (miracles.) What's the problem? It seems as if "opinions" are only to do with how convenient they are for *you*... which isn't relevant when we're talking about others, now, is it? It's not *your* name, so why put it down like this? It's a gorgeous name with a gorgeous meaning. What's not to like? It's everything I wish for in a name.

In the Spanish pronunciation, this name sounds much nicer than one might think, though I shall not claim it to be the most beautiful in the Spanish language. Spanish vowels are very short and crisp, and do not glide into other sounds as they do in English, therefore, the last syllable does not actually sound like "gross".The intervocallic "g" is also different, it is the voiced variant of the "ch" in "Bach" when preceding "a", "o", or "u", or it sounds kind of like a softer variant of the "ch" when it is before "e", "i", or "y".
Not exactly a bearer but there was a movie called "Milagro Beanfield War", Milagro was the name of the town. (this is probably one of my favorite movies)

I love this name, I pronounce it Meela-gro, so it doesn't have "gross" in it. A famous bearer was the "mermaid baby" from Peru. She was named Milagros as she was considered a miracle for the poor country, due to all the press attention she received. She's adorable! I've loved the name since I saw it on her.
