This is the name of one of my favourite historical figures. Mo'ohtavetoo'o (Black Kettle) was a chief of the Cheyenne in the 1860s. He was a pacifist and by the sounds of it an all round nice person. However this didn't stop him from being killed by the US army. I remember learning about the Sand Creek Massacre and the Battle of Washita River at school and it always made me very sad, as I got terribly attached to a lot of the historical figures we were studying. I still consider his murder one of American History's low points.
He is also in Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee by Dee Brown.
So yes, I love this name, but I fancy it's not a name you'll hear people being called now. (Correct me if I'm wrong, though XD)
