I actually find this name to be very nice. The backstory behind it is very interesting. I like that it's pronounced Mor-ree-un, I always thought it was Mor-ree-gun until now.
Not bad, but I think the similar name Morgana sounds prettier.
Bad meaning but lovely name, kinda like Mallory.
Its my name, it's pronounced Mor-ree-gun.
I really like this name! Don't really care about the association, but it is a great name.
Never liked the name Morgan personally. Morrigan has an air of elegance and sophistication to it. I would probably use it as a middle name rather than a first, but that's just me. Plus the meaning is sick. Love it.
I used to think it was really cool, then I met someone with the name, and now I can't ever use it because of the (obnoxious) association. Oh well, now I just think of crows when I hear the name.
Pretty.
I totally love this name! I love Dragon Age so I'm definitely a fan of it! I love mythology too, so it's a win-win for me!
Morrigan Crow is the main character of Nevermoor and its sequel, children books written by Jessica Townsend.
Great to see it’s more feminine because my last name is fully masculine and very unpopular as a first name!
Looks like a combination of my last name (Morrison) and Morgan. It’s a cute name. (;
Morrigan Corde, mother of Cade Skywalker.
I love this name, as I do most 'M' names.
I never knew the 'g' was silent, though. I'll admit, since it's my first time hearing it this way, I prefer it with the g sound. But I have no doubt I'll get used to hearing it as g-less.
Perhaps a nickname could be Morrie, though that seems like a word...
In A Court of Thorns and Roses series there is a character called Morrigan, shortened to Mor, Who is a very powerful Fae.
Very cool name for a cool person.
In the award-winning video game franchise "Dragon Age," the character Morrigan is a feared (sort of) and rude so-called "Witch of the Wilds" who may aid the protagonist(s). In the game, her name is pronounced mo-rih-gun.
Morrigan (or the more Irish looking Mórríghan) is what I want to call my daughter if I have one. I'm very interested to find out that the 'G' is silent, I've been saying it as "MOOR-ee-gan" so thank you whoever it was that specified that one. "MOOR-ee-an" is actually even prettier.
My whole life I had no idea the G was silent. Thankfully I've never met anyone named this and messed their name up, at least now I know. I think it sounds very nice the 'wrong' way and the 'right' way. It's very strong and regal sounding, I get the same vibes from Rhiannon.
The Morrigan appears as a character in Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid Chronicles. She is the Celtic Goddess of Death, able to transform into a great black bird, among other forms.
I believe there is a Taltos born named Morrigan in Anne Rice's The Witching Hour series.
It is pronounced mor-ree-gun.
Sounds more masculine to me.
I like it, but you'd probably get confused for Morgan a lot.

Morrigan Aensland is a character from a video game series by Capcom.
There is some disagreement over the meaning of the Morr¨ªgan's name. It can be straightforwardly interpreted as "great queen" (Old Irish m¨®r, great;[1] r¨ªgan, queen, [2] deriving from a hypothetical Proto-Celtic *M¨¡ra R¨©gan¨©-s.[3] However it often lacks the diacritic over the o in the texts. Alternatively, mor (without diacritic) may derive from an Indo-European root connoting terror or monstrousness, cognate with the Old English maere (which survives in the modern English word "nightmare") and the Scandinavian mara.[4] This can be reconstructed in Proto-Celtic as *Moro-r¨©gan¨©-s.[5] Current scholarship mostly holds to Morr¨ªgan being the older, more accurate form. The use of the term Queen could be misleading and her name could mean great hight or great power, understood in terms of a Druidess.(Wikipedia)
This name was used in the book "Hounds of the Morrigan" as the collective name of the triple battle goddess. If you like Irish mythology then you should definitely read the book.

Pronounced MOOR-ee-an, with the stress on the first syllable.
It seems a strong name to live up to.
Interesting name, a girl would probably be constantly correcting people on the pronunciation though.
Awesome name, strong and refined. I love it!
It's pronounced mo-ree-an. (I'm not sure what syllable is stressed).
