My name is Nest Dragonfly and I live in Arkansas. This name has given me many odd looks and pleasant comments.
It's an interesting name. I can see Nest being used as a nickname for Esther (or similar).
I don't get why this name would be ruined in English? The word makes it all the more cuter.
Is this name still used in Wales? I imagine that if there are any Welsh people don't speak English, it would be a fairly small percentage. That said, in English a "nest" is a place where egg-laying animals keep their eggs and very young offspring. I doubt I would like Nest being my name...
