I don’t think it’s that bad and can possibly work outside of its place of origin but it reminds me of push-up if anything.
Sounds like 'pushpin'.
Pushpa STRONG! PUSHPA TOUGH BIG WOMAN PUSHPA! Personally I don’t like this name because it reminds me of a body builder woman from the Middle East.
Anyone who has this name must stand out. It's actually kind of cool, but it sounds too much like "Pushpop" for my tastes.
Very pretty name with a nice meaning. Pushpanjali is an offering of flowers to the Indian Gods and Goddesses.
Lol, pushpin? I really don't like this name. I have never met anyone with this name, not even Indian. Really? White people named this? They must be mixed. And their parents might not have given the name that much thought.
White people can't be named this? Maybe they like the name. The comment you made was extremely judgmental, racist and uncalled for.
I hope for the sake of all girls named Pushpa that none of them are ever called "pushpin".
This is my mother's first name, and I think it's a very beautiful yet strong name. But I've seen some caucasian women named Pushpa and it just doesn't fit - it's really a name only Indian girls can pull off.
