Raven is also used as a given name in Belgium and the Netherlands. In both countries, the name is decidedly unisex, although slightly more often used on males than on females.

Van Dorst is the best known Dutch bearer of the name, even though they only started using the name in May 2021. You see, they were born an intersex person, but made to go through life as a female with the given name of Ryanne. As an adult, they eventually fully embraced their intersex identity and ended up choosing a name that better reflected it, which happened to be Raven.
