Bad and repulsive name. I'm sorry but I don't like this name at all. It doesn't sound pretty or cute and it's hard to pronounce. The fact that it also means "Quail eggs" makes it even worse and weird. You could choose a better name for your child.

My knowledge of Arabic is extremely limited, but... are you sure that the spelling of this name is correct? سلوة does not turn up anything on Wiktionary, nor does searching for it on the Arabic Wikipedia yield any bearers. The spelling سلوى on the other hand *does* yield results on both Wiktionary and the Arabic Wikipedia:

The Gulf of Salwah (Dawhat Salwah) is the southern portion of the Gulf of Bahrain. The Gulf of Salwah is a narrow bay separating the peninsula of Qatar from Saudi Arabia. It is bordered to the west by a well-vegetated shoreland containing palm trees and reed beds. To the east are low cliffs and hills, with sand dunes and salt flats at the southern end.

Salwah (Arabic: صلوة) is a village in Syria, administratively part of Idlib Governorate. It is located just west of the Dead Cities. Nearby localities include Jalmah to the north, Darat Izza to the southeast, Talaadah to the southeast, al-Dana to the south, and Atme and Qah to the west. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Salwah had a population of 3,244 in 2004.
